Service Collection and Delivery Driver - Coventry

We currently have a position for a Service Collection and Delivery Driver join our team at Coventry.

Key Purpose of the job:

To support the nominated service team.

To ensure that all vehicles are collected and delivered to customers are fully cleaned to a high standard of presentation.

To undertake any driving duties as required

To check vehicles prior to collection, record their condition and to discuss with customers any other work that may be needed. 

To ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.

To undertake driving duties as required to include MOT traction and presentation

To carry out duties necessary for the collection and delivery of customer vehicles as scheduled by the service team

To ensure vehicles are kept safe, secure and undamaged at all times while in their possession

To delivery customers vehicles and gain their acceptance

To undertake driving duties as requested both on and offsite ensuring that the “rules” of the road are adhered to at all times

Handle all internal and external customers with courtesy and ensure the Mercedes-Benz experience is delivered to all contacts at all times

To ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively and are reported to a supervisor / manage immediately

To ensure that within their area of operation all Company and Trade Associations policies, procedures and minimum standards are met and that all requirements including health and safety, fire are adhered to

Adhere to Health & Safety Policies and Procedures at all times.

To possess a full clean HGV driving licence, appropriate to the vehicles being driven

Possess a calm and even temperament

Be willing and enthusiastic in supporting the service team

To show consideration towards customer property and to work in an ordered manner
